HDD key bind missing for SU27 training mission 2

Hi, trying to learn myself the SU27 and i'm at a point in the second training mission where the i am asked to press LCtrl + R to change HDD modes.

 

Pressing this combo does nothing, so i thought i'l have a look for the bind in the menu, found none.

To be sure i hadn't missed it i tried to bind LCtrl + R to a random item to look for an error saying that key was already in use, no error, canceled that bind.

 

 

Anyone have any idea what's up here?

 

Anyone have any advice for someone learning the SU27?

I had no idea what to look for.

I was searching for "head down" and "HDD" as per the instructions.

 

I found the "MFD HUD Repeater Mode On Off" but nothing was bound to it, thus i suppose why pressing the keys showed no result.

I've now bound LCtrl + R to it.

 

Funny that it wasn't bound as today is the 1st time I've ever used the SU27 module.

 

I'll re-try the training mission tomorrow and should all work now.

There are several things that had the bindings removed for some reason. It has nothing to do with whether or not you've ever used the module. Enjoy the Flanker. She takes a bit of getting used to but, once you have, she's an exceptional ride. :)
