Nascar Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I wanted to post for people who get sli set up and get video flickering while through the browser. I figured out, after a while, I had use inverse telecine checked in Nvidia control panel. It is under video>adjust video settings. On a side note, I had sli set up in Nvidia control panel but it wasn't working after checking Msi afterburner running the SteamVR test. I had to set it up in Nvidia Inspector under the black shark profile and link it to my desktop shortcut. With 2 gtx 760's 4gb, I got a whopping score of 0 in the SteamVR test with Sli. With one card I get .2. In DCS, using one card I get 30 fps and Sli 40fps with high settings. EntropySG Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I have that checked, yet get cloud flicker with SLI still [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Nascar Posted February 27, 2016 Author Posted February 27, 2016 I have that checked, yet get cloud flicker with SLI still I think this setting only effects video playback. Not sure though. Anyway, I guess that wasn't the fix because my video flickers are back. I will never do SLI again. It is such a PITA and nothing is optimized for it. EntropySG Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I don't play many other games, but on all of those I have, SLI works perfect and gives a nice fps boost. One day ED will manage to fix the cloud flicker, I'm sure [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Konovalov Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 New clouds for DCS 2.0 are in the works so perhaps the cloud flickering will be resolved with this development. Current clouds are very dated and detract from the otherwise excellent improvements in 1.5/2. Enduro14 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 As I will agree sometimes sli is more a pain them gain, but when it is a gain it is especially worth it. For me it's a must at 4K, sometimes it takes some t inker in in nvidia inspector also. Intel 8700k @5ghz, 32gb ram, 1080ti, Rift S
