How would you like to have these improvements in F-15C cockpit?

WAYPOINTS on radar screen (destination points)

 

BULLSEYE information

– SEARCH MODE : position of CURSOR

– TRACK MODE : position of TARGET

 

All these feature will improve situational awareness and valuable information about target position. Especialy for multiplayer games.

Issue is, the F-15C has the simplistic system modelling, so it's doubtful that attention to detail in terms of systems will be implemented (although the Su-27 has a waypoint display on its radar screen so yeah)

That's some seriously old -34 stuff.

 

In any case, as neat as those are, the very first thing I want, ahead of all of that is:

 

- Correct target representation when the mothership is in motion (ie. have you sat there in any search mode, picked up a contact and had to turn? What happens? That's right, the target doesn't smoothly move across the screen, you have to wait for it to be re-painted! This is incorrect)

- TWS Track memory for the win.

- Proper GACQ search parameters.

- Supersearch. For the win.

 

Those two things alone will give you tons of capability that you didn't realize you wanted - or that you were missing. The rest is also very wanted, but it's basically cake and probably in the realm for a DCS F-15C if one happens.

 

BTW, The F-15C has no bullseye representation (that I know of). You use an existing SP as bullseye - in other words, whatever your currently selected SP is, that is considered to be 'bullseye'.

Imagine how rich and powerfull ED would become in the game industry if they actually could pull the FC3 package to full fidelity level. I wonder what hold them back (yes yes we all know why, so sad.)

 

On a serious question: Should the F-15C not be able to have HMCS or something similar ? And if yes would it not be a pretty easy feature to implement to the current F-15C we see ingame ?

I doubt you'll see anything new for the FC3 Eagle.

 

If you see changes, it'll be with a DCS module, if that happens.
