How do you turn *off* Active Pause?

So I tried googling, but I couldn't find what I'm looking for.

 

So I know how to turn on Active Pause. But how does one turn it *off*?

 

I'm testing physical switches, so active pause is great. But I can't figure out how to turn it off!

It has been years since I used active pause, but AFAIK, that used to be the correct answer.

have you tried assigning it to a button on the controller... I have the hotas warthog and i use the left throttle switch to toggle it on and off.

Saves a lot of hassle.

the same keyboard sequence does *not* get you you out of active pause. The assigning it to toggle makes sense. I'm thinking the down and up action in the LUA is not correct. I'll give that a whirl since I'm busy building my toggle box (and why I need the active pause...to test the toggles)

The default binding [LSHIFT + LWIN + Pause] does indeed start and stop active pause mode.

 

Are you testing with actual keystrokes, or are you testing with your switches?

Huh...it was with keystrokes. and it didn't work for me. I wonder why...
