Hi

When I shoot the gun, the engine is slowing down - that's OK

But when a empty wing pylon is selected (what prevents the gun from shooting) the engine also slows down when I pull the trigger. Seems to be a bug?!

Not sure if it's a bug or not, but this happens only when the gun switch is on (the one on the side wall). If you switch it off, it won't slow down anymore.

Windows 10 - Intel i7 7700K 4.2 Ghz (no OC) - Asus Strix GTX 1080 8Gb - 16GB DDR4 (3000 MHz) - SSD 500GB + WD Black FZEX 1TB 6Gb/s

That's right - I noticed it after a regular gun run, I switched on the pylon to fire some rockets, after the rocket pods were empty I forgot to switch off the pylons and was wondering why I was slowing down but no bullets fly by pressing the trigger.

It is not a bug, but a feature, it works the same way in real L-39, as long as GSh-23 is correctly configured and selected and trigger depressed, the RPM goes down and RT-12 is engaged, no matter if the gun really fires or not.

It is one of the protective measures of the AI-25TL engine to prevent surge/flame out because of GSH-23 gasses ingestion (the others are speed/AoA/G limits).

Maybe an error for the rear place but from front place it's normal:

FUEL DELIVERY LIMITER

The fuel delivery to the engine is continuously cut down to

protect the engine from surge when the gun is firing. Once the

armament system is selected and ready for gun firing, the fuel

delivery is limited the whole time when the trigger is

squeezed either the gun fires or not.

WARNING:

If the trigger is squeezed for more than a few seconds,

the RPM will drop down to 42% either the gun fires or

not. When the trigger is released, the RPM increase

back to preselected value by the throttle.

Bye, Skull.
