window cut off

so a friend of mine downloaded the game and the game in general has parts of the image missing on the right side and bottom side of the screen, they are basically cut off, the settings in the options are set to the native screen resolution, but no settings can be changed because the ok/apply field is also missing, just ing general its messed up and of course unusable that way. there is nothing wrong with the pc hardware, the PC has i7, gtx 980 ti or so ,etc. so thats not the issue, its game related. We are talking abouzt DCS World 1.5 Beta.

Has anyone experienced the same problem?

If you know it, then tell me how it can be fixed

In Saved Games\DCS\config there should be a file called options.lua. Try deleting or renaming the file and the start DCS.

 

Note: I might have the path slightly wrong, since I can't look at the software right now, but it's somewhere in there.

/<user>/Saved Games/<dcs.install>/Config/Options.LUA

 

Under ["Graphics"]:

Change the Values of ["Height"], ["Width"] to the values of your screen resolution.

 

Change ["multiMonitorSetup"] back to "1camera"

 

Save, Launch DCS
