ebabil Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Hi guys, i have some questions, Sometimes i see some jtac radio menu on Mp games. It says "Jtac status" when i select it, it shows some coordinates and grids. But i think this is 2 digits more than it should be for example AB 1234 5678, but it should be AB 123 456, am i wrong? can i enter these as new attack waypoint? other question is, i watched a video about jtld scripts, it showed maverick screen searching laser and then locked to jtac laser by saying "detected" is it possible how? is it about script or maverick itself, can i also lock automatically via tgp? Steggles Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 The MRGS coordinates are correct. More numbers = more accurate location. Yes you can enter these as a waypoint. Read up on using the CDU in the flight manual. As for LSS (laser spot search) it's impossible to use on a maveric. You wouldn't have seen that. To us LSS set the laser code you're searching for in the CTRL page of the TGP while its in A-G mode, then press the LSS OSB on the right. You will see the TGP start searching for the laser. NOTE that you have to have the TGP pointing towards the expected laser position for it to find the laser. More info can be found in the flight manual. -16AGR- 16th Air Guards Regiment is always looking for pilots - http://www.16agr.com EWRS - Early Warning Radar Script Specs: Gigabyte Sniper Z5-S Intel i5-4670k 3.4GHz OC'd 3.9GHz w/ Thermaltake 120mm Water 3.0 Pro Liquid CPU Cooler 16GB RAM Gigabyte GTX 1080 TM Hotas Warthog: SN: 06976 Saitek Pro Flight Combat Rudder Pedals TrackIR5 with TrackClipPro & Oculus Rift 2x 28" 4k UHD Monitors (3840x2160 each) + 1280x1024
JANGO70 Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Hi mate. About the first question, you can enter in several ways, with more o less digits, the more numbers you enter the best accuracy defining a point. For the second one, i supose you are referring to the TGP display in LSS mode. Vitormouraa Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 In DCS we have four different MAVs versions -AGM-65D (Infrared, it's not laser) 485lbs -AGM-65H (Electro-optical guidance) 485lbs And we have the penetrator version -AGM-65G (Infrared seeker, same of D version) 670lbs -AGM-65K (Electro-optical, same of H version) 670lbs The Maverick that uses laser as designator, is the AGM-65E, but we don't have it in DCS A-10C. The E version is 630lbs. SplashOneGaming Discord https://splashonegaming.com
