Autostart/Autostop Commands added 3-18-16 to 1.5.3

Thanks for the addition of the Autostart/Autostop commands.

Now if you would, please add the key mappings to the joystick and/or throttle LUA.

ED has these "cheats" mapped to the keyboard and to all controllers as a standard.

I just finished the same request to the Hawk developer and they implemented the request.

 

There are many in the community that map all keyboard commands to controllers of all types.

I also requested several times that all key commands be capable of being mapped to controllers and you have agreed with that request, albeit not implemented to date.

 

Please acknowledge this request and let us know when it will be implemented.

Replacing the original one.

This will be fixed in next update.

All key commands are mapped to controllers, unless there are some bugs like the one above. Maybe you refer to all clickable functions being mapped to keyboard/joystick, that's WIP and can't give an estimate.

Yes, I was referring to all clickable commands being mapped to joystick. That request is as old as the C-101 in DCS. I understand there may be more important work but that's been the response for what seems like an eternity. Please blow the dust off that to-do item.

Is it possible to edit out the pre-flight checks for autostart?

We can't satisfy everyone. You will just save a few seconds and some people may find instructive to review the full procedure during the autostart. We opt for realism when we have the option. And we feel proud to have one of the few modules, not to say the only one, that has the real start up procedure implemented in the autostart sequence (similar for shut down).

What takes longer during the start up is the engine spool up and the TARSYN synchronization, the systems checks are done really fast.

But, you can make a poll if you think there is a need.

I think it's a cool feature, very realistic! As this is a trainer that does things in a slow pace, I suggest to leave it as is :thumbup:
