Mission 9 - SU30 survice Sweep

I tried to fly Mission 9 several times.

 

Seems like after the update, the sweeping does not deliver the desired results.

Following the sweep via the F10-Map, I think it's a timing issue.

 

The F15s do not clear all air-threats. However, they manage to kill the Mig29s. When then being involved into the dogfight with the SU30s, the F15s get shot down by long-range-SAMs, which had not been cleared by B1 or SEAD at that time.

I really try to get to the AO as late as possible, but I always find myself faced to least 3 SU30s, which have not been cleared by F15s or the F16s. After shooting down the 2nd Hawg-flight coming from N, the SU30s take down my flight one after the other.

 

Is this a known issue? I feel like the success of the mission is not really in my hands, which is frustrating.

Not sure if the update mentioned above has happened yet, but my advice is to move STP8 due west of STP7. With 8 down SW of 9, the Hawgs were easy pickings for the SUs. I move the STP and immediately had a success of the mission. The AI flights took care of the enemy, and I wasn't disturbed by the SU30s.

 

Also with 8 moved north of 9, I had more room to defend instead of being boxed by the restricted air space.
