merlin851526 Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 I've noticed after the last patch that when I work the engine up to 100% before take off the engine will simply shut down sometimes it will fail into the takeoff run as well. Has anyone else encountered this problem or am I missing something on startup? Pocket Sized Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 [...]when I work the engine up to 100% before take off [...] Just in case this is still an issue, there's your problem. Can't throttle the engine too high while stationary or it will stall. DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule. In order to utilize a system to your advantage, you must know how it works.

Mig-21 has an engine driven pump, so will start without them, but leaving them off normally results in what you're describing. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
