ex81 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I just bought a X-55 Rhino (used) for about 70% of the average retail price. Will I be lucky with it ????????:joystick: What goes up, must come down ! Akki Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Because the focus is not military sim, but "space sim". Did you saw any of Riddick movies? They like to use Saitek sticks. BTW, many thanks Sokol!! With your advice I contacted BRD and now I have a wonderful stick, so happy with it!! Win 8.1, I7 4770K 4.5ghz watercooled, 240gb SSD in Raid 0, 16GB DDR3-2400, EVGA GTX780 watercooled, LG 29EA73-P (2560x1080) Cobra M5 *modded by BRD*, CH Pro Throttle, Pro Combat Pedals, TrackIR5 Pro + Delanclip, Bose QC 15, TM Cougar MFD's 300/30 mbps
313_Nevo Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 if the mouse nipple on the X55 sucks, maybe better will be small trackball. with a small trackball I will be really thinking about it.
PureEvil Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Ugh, that color scheme. Ugh, I already passed for the X-52 because of its looks and this goes with the same theme?! not just a tacky colour scheme update... Man, that new X-65 color scheme looks pretty awful from a military sim perspective. Bummer. so many people looking at their joystick while having fun... TMatzelle60 Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Those 2 new control parts they added will they do anything for us flight simmers or its not worth it?
wormeaten Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I don't know what to say. From experiance with X52 there is no significant diferenc except in price. I'm afraid same will be with X55 and X56. X52 is still best buy option from Saitek. I'm not sure but didn't find nothing to confirm that major issue with x56 will be adjustable joystick size like in x52. At least I got that feeling watching pictures of x56. I'm I right?
