dimitriov Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 While editing the Gazelle campaign, I often met the following problem : YOu fly very low as a player, but other flights won't. The current minimal altitude for helicopters in DCS is around 30m/ground, while over sea there isn't any problem. I think it could be interesting to place the limit to 5 meters. Nicolas
Northstar98 Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 +1 I'd like to see the limit reduced, or maybe, for it to be removed. I'd also like to see the same done for fixed wing aircraft whose minimum speed is 135 knots. Terrains I own: South Atlantic, Syria, The Channel, SoH/PG, Marianas. flying rabbit Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I did a small test with the huey and its even worse. The AI is bunny hopping from WP to WP and raises 20m at the WPs even though it should stay at 30m and is flying min 60m. [ame] [/ame]
King_Hrothgar Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I'm sure the reason the limit is there is to prevent our brain dead AI from flying into buildings and the sides of mountains. I'd like to see the restriction removed too, but only if doing so actually works.
