georgian hills "instant action mission" frustrating me

hello i´v been playing the mission called Georgian hills - medium difficult level in "INSTANT ACTION"gameplay in the a10c menu. I´v been playinh During 1 week but with no happy ending, broken wing and electronic system destroyed and other damages thanks to the anti-aircraft ... and other most common ending : my wingman ignoring me , my wingman ejecting .... But this is not a big problem for me. My main worry / problem is that ATC never answer me when i ask for a runway to repair my plane and recharge the weapons. When i land worn out in a near runway and i talk with the ground personal they are "in grey letters" and they never answer me , even when i turn off the engines and "turn off" the plane . Don´t know if its impossible to re-charge weapons in this mission or repair the plane. That is my question. how do it ? or is impossible to do it in this "instant missions" ? thanks you.

Are you sure you are using the right frequencies and using the right radios when contacting your wingman/atc? And if you want to rearm, you have to land at a friendly airbase, open your canopy and talk to the groundcrew.

First thing that comes to my mind are your radio settings. There is an option (under gameplay I think) called 'simple radio' if it is turned on, you shouldn't have a problem.

 

If it is on you need to use your actual radios to communicate with assets/ground. If you only want to talk to the ground crew the simplest way is to just open the canopy. :) There are already tutorials for the radio's so I won't bother.

 

If radios are not the issue please make sure the airport you landed on is actually on your coalition before you land. A neutral or opposing airfield will not rearm, refuel or repair you.

 

edit: Disregard everything, I just checked the mission in the newest version, the nearest airfields are set to neutral. It's not you, it's the mission. :)

 

edit2: Okay I edited the missions in the editor and just set the airfields around the target area to blue and it works. You can either edit it yourself or use my version.

 

The instant missions are located in your DCS World folder: "\DCSWorld\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Missions\EN\QuickStart" back them up and just copy mine over them.
