Hi all,

I am doing the Georgian Hammer campaign and in multiple missions now it's impossible to have JTAC report in because of other radio communication. Is this a bug?

We talk on JTAC on 30.0 VHF FM and allied force on 124.00 AM, so why is JTAC waiting to communicate until there's a whole in the radio talk??

And sometimes the allied flights are just talking for minutes on end reporting bullseyes etc.

If I shut off the AM radio, it doesn't make any difference. JTAC still waits for a hole in comms to answer me.

Cheers,

e.

It's always been a hurdle, especially for the large scale war missions. The only thing you can do is compromise. You can turn off the "allied flight reports" in the sim options and be able to hear more streamlined JTAC comms, at the expense of missing out on the flight reports for SA.

..or you can just change the frequency for the other flights for the time when you want to talk to the JTAC and turn them on after you are finished - should be the easiest option if JTAC is on FM and others are on AM.

Hi guys,

thanks for the replies.

Baltic Dragon: that doesnt work. For some reason JTAC waits for a hole in the comms even if the radio is switched off...
