Download is SLOOOW

So i am trying to reinstall DCSW.. on the torrent download update, I am getting 7 Kb/s

 

I switch to HTTP download and I get 6 KB/s

 

I am on a fiberoptic connection hard wired to my case direct from modem. My DL is currently 264MB/s (just checked on multiple speedtests)

 

Any idea/tips on what is throttling the DCS download? Any tips to make this faster? This will take all day at this rate.

It is the DCS update utility by skatezilla. I am not to say that it was faster, but it got the job done where i had a problem with the conection being droped serverside on the last few bytes again and again and again.........

did you use that for the base install or for the update? How does his utility circumvent the torrent or http access to the files i need?

I use the DCS update utility as well, and I get 1 - 3 Mb/s on the downloads. Thank you Scatezilla.

Torrent will increase in speed the longer you download and the more people are downloading. If you are inpatient and jump ship before the acceleration begins, you will never see the advantage of using it.
