cquail Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Like the title states after disengaging from auto-hover I yaw violently to the left. Even when I anticipate this and have some right rudder I seem to snap left then over correct right before regaining control. I can't seem to do it smoothly. Is there a better way?
Capn kamikaze Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I had that too, it just seems to be a case that you have to hold some rudder in. During start up there is a part about turning on gyros I'm guessing they're for the ADI's not for rudder assistance....
Xtrasensory Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 If you use the control indicator youll see the current position of your controls and the position where the auto pilot holds them. just align the red with the white indicators and disengage. http://1stcavdiv.conceptbb.com/ 229th Air Cav, D Coy, Gunships
Aginor Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Yeah. Other than that it is just "feeling" the right rudder input. For me it is easier since I adjusted my curves to 30. DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
