Maulkin Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 [ame] [/ame] All humor aside... ;) Im not sure when I first noticed this but it seems that the explosion sounds have changed to less of a "kaboom" and more of a underwhelming popping sound. For example I launched about 72 rockets at a truck column and then quickly switched to the truck view to witness the carnage and all I heard was quiet popping. Then some of the burning trucks exploding with more popping. I guess I have spent too much time in the cockpit at high alt. so I never noticed when this changed but I dont remember it being like this. Does anyone know if this is right? To be clear this is a clean install of both v1.5 and v2.0 --Maulkin Windows 10 64-bit - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 3.7 GHz - 32 GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM - EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 - Asus Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard - Samsung EVO Pro 1 TB SSD - TrackIR 4 Pro - Thrustmaster Warthog - Saitek rudder pedals - Lilliput UM-80/C with TM Cougars

Maulkin Posted May 2, 2016 Author Posted May 2, 2016 While I am not expecting the Hollywood-ish "ka-POW" I feel like I have lit off fireworks that made more sound. I'm wondering if it just might be me so I'll try to make a video and attach it. --Maulkin Windows 10 64-bit - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ 3.7 GHz - 32 GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM - EVGA FTW3 RTX 3080 - Asus Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard - Samsung EVO Pro 1 TB SSD - TrackIR 4 Pro - Thrustmaster Warthog - Saitek rudder pedals - Lilliput UM-80/C with TM Cougars

Holbeach Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 If it's anything like the vids in this thread, then it's a bug that's been around for some time and is being investigated. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=157613&page=2 .. BimC Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 I noticed the same since 1.5.3.52018 update (I think). Thought it had to do with the "real sound mod" I've installed. Although the sound might be correctly reproduced, let it be here we deviate a little and include a bit of hollywood IMHO :gun_rifle: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] _________________________________________________ WIN 10, i7-2600K at 3.4ghz, 2x OCZ Vertex 120GB SSD RAID 0, Corsair Vengeance 16GB, Gainward GeForce GTX 590, Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog, Track IR 5 PRO.
