When buying flaming cliffs from the dev store

When you buy flaming cliffs 3 can you add it to you steam account and add it to dcs world like a module?

For Steam you need to purchase from Steam, keys bought on the ED site will not import into Steam. But, if you purchase a key from Steam, you can use the key on the standalone version from ED.

This is why it used to be printed in big red letters, on the store pages, that the keys don't work with Steam.

 

Why they removed that information is beyond me.
