FireFox500 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 I have had DCS for about a year and it has happened before but magically went away in 1.2.6 but now it's back. I own FC3 and currently the only aircraft I can get to start in both single and multiplayer is the F-15C and MiG-29S (haven't tried other versions). I have all my keys mapped correctly but they simply wont start. In the Su-25T I will spam my start buttons and the lights to indicate your engines ignited and are starting will flash very quickly but won't stay lit. Has anybody else had this issue? I turn on ground power and electronics before each flight, but still nothing in; A-10A, Su-27, and Su-25T, I have not tried the others as i rarely fly them (besides F-15 and MiG because they actually start). My friend can fly his Su-27 and Su-25T perfectly fine, started and everything, but mine for some reason will not start. Any help is greatly appreciated, FireFox500 PC Specs: i7 4790 (non K), MSI GTX 980, 1TB Seagate HDD, 32GB Crucial DDR3-1600MHz RAM, 3 Samsung 1920x1080 monitors, EVGA 850W G2 PSU
Apache600 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 odd. I'm sure you've done this, but check that your throttle is idle. Also, check your key bindings (axis in particular) to make sure that there is no other controller or axis (other than what you want as your throttle) is bound that could keep the throttle from going idle [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The Museum Relic Campaign: --> http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=164322 Community Missions (SP & MP) --> https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=205546

But (on Su-25T) will not go past 12-13% RPM even at full power PC Specs: i7 4790 (non K), MSI GTX 980, 1TB Seagate HDD, 32GB Crucial DDR3-1600MHz RAM, 3 Samsung 1920x1080 monitors, EVGA 850W G2 PSU
Apache600 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 So you have most of the FC3 aircraft working now? with the SU-25T, when you are in the starting process, where does the idle power end up at? It take a good while to get up to that point. It takes about 35 seconds for the engine to start, and should stabilize at about 35% RPM. In that time, make sure you're not touching the throttle at all and keep it in idle. You should never be seeing 12-13% on a started and running engine. The A-10A still wont start, Su-27 I haven't tried, but F-15 and MiG-29S still work. With the Su-25T i would step the throttle all the way back and then start again and again but still only 13% PC Specs: i7 4790 (non K), MSI GTX 980, 1TB Seagate HDD, 32GB Crucial DDR3-1600MHz RAM, 3 Samsung 1920x1080 monitors, EVGA 850W G2 PSU
Apache600 Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 I don't know what to say :/ a DCS repair maybe? Or if you want to record a start procedure you're doing and post it to youtube and link it here, then we can take a look at it. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The Museum Relic Campaign: --> http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=164322 Community Missions (SP & MP) --> https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=205546

One day it will be resolved, until then i get some much needed Fulcrum and Eagle practice! Doctor027 Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 I think i have the same problem with u ,that is the engine can not start. I get the official answer like this :""Double check keys in options, if they are still not working we can delete the inputs folder to start a fresh. C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input" By the way it works in some plane I hope it can help u
