F2 view shows Mi-8 for other players on 1.5.3

having a fly around on our server (1.5.3).

 

one of our members who doesn't Own the Gazelle used the F2 to see my helicopter, as he wanted to see the Roll, HOWEVER lol he saw a Mi-8 instead which was flapping its rear doors haha

I've seen that happen when someone has the gazelle and another doesn't. But this was before the gazelle was released into the actual sim. So with the 1.5.3 update it should be visible to everyone regardless if they own it.

 

I'll see if I can run some tests to replicate though.

Well, I would like to make sure both of your are on the same 1.5.3 version. So if you can find out exactly the version number you and they are on (on the first menu screen) - that would be good.

 

oh and tell your friend to get the gazelle.....;)

OK I can confirm the one who saw the Mi8 instead of the gazelle is on:

Steam version 1.5.3.52724

Talked with our graphics guy tonight while testing some of the newer weapons....mentioned people asking about the skins...he's working on it so we'll go with the standard Soon™.
