I was just sitting here when I had a random thought. There's tons of pictures out there of American fighters dressed up like SU-27's and Mig-29's. Are there aggressor squadrons in Russia that have aircraft disguised as American jets?

Does anybody have pictures of Russian Aircraft wearing Western schemes?

It is well known that the US has flown many Russian aircraft, from the Mig-15 to the Mig-29.

Unit like the 4470th TEF/TES, 6512th/6513th Red Hats, etc. flying from TTR or Groom Lake.

Do Russian have similar units?

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..

There are old pictures of red-stared F-14 which claimed to have been taken in the USSR. Stated to be ex-Iranian property. F-14 '02' - http://usaircraft.proboards.com/thread/1420 (too much Photoshop IMO)

More trusty info is for numerous test flights of an ex-USAF F-5E abandoned in Vietnam, delivered to the USSR in 1976 and flown numerous times vs MiG-21bis and MiG-23 dogfights with kick-ass success as source bellow states. Later disassembled for researches. F-5E in Akhtubinsk AB in 1976 - http://www.politicalforum.com/warfare-military/437781-f-5e-soviet-airforce.html (those pics seem more authentic). That article is quiet interesting (in russian) - http://www.testpilot.ru/review/runway/volga/volga_xvi.htm

"See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. If you don't know you shouldn't be flying." - Chuck Yeager, from the back seat of F-15D at age 89.
