Azazel Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I bought the Flight Pedals, Pro Throttle, and Fighterstick from CH Products back in 2002 while living in Colorado and after 14 years of loyal service they are finally starting to fall apart. They really held up well to be honest and I was not easy on them. I joined the Army back in 2004 and they went with me all over for years while I moved around with the big green. They got dropped, knocked around, thrown into the back of my car and into moving boxes but they always continued to function. Only recently did they begin to fail. The first to go was the left break on my pedals two years ago, but I made do by just using the right one. A few months ago the right one stopped working too and I got sick of reaching for the keyboard to use the breaks and my wife was kind enough to buy me new ones for my birthday recently. Yesterday, the throttle started to go: all kinds of slider axis spikes: kept blowing the turbine in Polychops Gazelle because of it (amazing job they've done btw). The fighterstick is still going strong and I thought about pulling the throttle apart but after 14 years I figure CH has served me well so I just bought replacements for both off Amazon. It'll be nice having all new gear and I certainly recommend them for anyone who is interested in a nice durable HOTAS set that isn't going to set you back as much say the TM's Warthog. Bidartarra Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Glad to hear you had such a nice xp with CH products. Just bought the CH pro pedals (my first ever rudder for sim) . Can't wait to try them.

The pedals are great. They are nice and big which is important: no searching with your feet for them. MiG21bisFishbedL Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I recently switched to CH from a Saitek X-52pro after I got fed up with playing musical drivers with my X-52pro. After this purchase? The only thing conceivable upgrade I may get is a Warthog and, even then, I don't know. I'm REALLY happy with this set up. No fuss, no frills, nothing externally to try and make it look cool, it just works perfectly. There's no need for silly LEDs or other pointless additions to give you an illusion of quality or desirability. Metal is nice and all, but this is some durable plastic and I prefer this. Seriously, it's like playing with a Tonka toy as a kid. I think I'll be a customer to CH for as long as they provide flight sim products of this sort. Glad to hear you had such a nice xp with CH products. Just bought the CH pro pedals (my first ever rudder for sim) . Can't wait to try them. They're really good pedals. My only complaint about them is that they're billed on their usage as both rudder pedals for flight sims and pedals for driving sims. It even comes with a set of inserts to hold the Z axis still for that purpose. Being frank, they would suck pretty hard as a brake and gas pedal set up for a driving sim outside of something like Euro/American Truck Sim where reaction time isn't so important. However, in their intended role as rudder/anti-torque pedals? They're fantastic. Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!
Bidartarra Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 My pedals arrived today. Super pleased with my purchase, its a whole new dimension for the helos and the WW2 birds.
Azazel Posted May 23, 2016 Author Posted May 23, 2016 There are better ones out there apparently, but CH pedals for the price and quality have been extremely satisfying for me. They make doing gun runs in fast movers or hovering in helos a piece of cake. Enjoy your new set!
