F-86 Bombs question

So here's the thing, I love flying the f-86 and have been taking some time trying to learn the different aspects of bombing. I have practiced both automatic bombing mode and manual bombing mode with limited success (I get close to the targets....juuuuust not quite close enough). I haven't tried LABS yet.

My question is this: in the mission Sabre Rattlers (downloaded for 1.5) I have watched the AI F-86's drop bimbs, but not like I have seen. Basically, they just fly straight and the bombs come off the wings and then curve down to the Target. Don't think it's LABS, as they are straight and level.

Am I missing a secret bombing mode, or is this maybe normal AI behavior.

I'd say it's normal. MiG-21 AI does the same, even though there's no way You can do it when flying the plane Yourself (unless flying very low and practicing a lot). They're just not programmed for "realistic" diving bomb runs.
