Ok.. on TS I show connected, pilot/exclusive. Freq goes bold, ts light comes on when transmitting. My buddy shows connected when I highlight his name. In game on the same tarmac, UH1, I hear him transmit. He does not hear me, when he highlights my name in TS it does not show any UR status for me. Which side is the error on? His or mine? Thanks.

Confirm you installed both TS and UR as admin (not 100% sure that's neeeded but can't harm)

In UR Control Panel you bound both radio selector and PTT to the same button?

Yep and yep. That's what's throwing me off on this one going by everything we are both supposed to be seeing it looks like it should be working and not figure out why he's not hearing me

What I understand. Your friend doesn't have a connected UR.

As your Exclusive mode is activated, you can't hear him.

Problem comes from your friend : check DCS.log (ISO error or file missing)

check \log\universradio.log (bind error)

For me your side is clean : Connected + blod + lue light (same fq too I suppose :-) )

Information

UR and SRS are not compatible. SRS modifies DCS export, as A-10C radio volumes set to 0%.

Please, make sure you don't have SRS script in your ..\Saved games\DCS\Scripts\Export.lua (add '--' comment in fron)

This module can be launched from “SCAN” button and it displays level signals of the wave band from 1MHz to 400MHz according to the window of scan.

So, we don't get it anymore? I would use the Radio Scanner for ELINT tasks, not as ATC. Listening to enemy frequencies (which aren't secured) is a high class simulation of intelligence stuff inside DCS. It would be sad, if we couldn't use this feature anymore. :(

Is it correct, that the built-in radio feature in LotATC doesn't work anymore and I always have to use the UR ATC Radio Desk? I only get crazy frequencies in TS3, if I triy to use LotATC without the ATC Radiodesk.

today we (7 pilots) had problems using UR. Yesterday in our squadron training all was fine. But today, UR didn't work at all. I also updated TS3 and UR to the latest version, without success.

 

TS3 version: 3.1.3, QT Version 5.6.1

UR Version: 0.1.3.2LC

licensed: yes

DCS Version: 2.0.5.1648 (without update 2.0.5 1/2)

 

With LotATC and ATC Desktop radio the communication works fine. But as pilot (client) in the M-2000C it didn't work at all. We didn't change anything on our clients or on our server (same DCS version, same TS3 version, same UR version as yesterday). :helpsmilie:It didn't work for nobody of us (some have different UR/TS3 version).

 

We alle get "not connected" in the TS3 status window.

 

But I found a file (failed.ofsh), maybe this helps.

Could you do an autodiag from URControlPanel and send to me the \Saved Games\UniversRadio\log\URControlPanel.log file, please ?

thanks for your hint. I checked the network.cfg and there wasn't one. Only a network.vault file. As I tested LotATC some days ago I tested some other server settings (activated sensor data export and deselected object export for a few seconds) and it seems, as this deleted the network.cfg. :doh:

 

I copied the one from my pc, activated the object export function again and it works again. :)

 

For other UR users: The autoDIAG report said, there is a problem with the DCS.log or there isn't one.

Yes, you're right. It was the third way : export blocked by the DCS server config.

We have to accept all DCS exports. A bad thing for multiplayer sessions with unknown gamers, with cheaters or other (guys with own 'radar' and seeing everything). But not with fair friends

I succeed to remove the billing informations (name, address). I never need these and I prefer no or bad address than real one.

today I tested the radio scanner but it didn't worked. :(

 

What I did/ checked:

- connected to LotATC blue side

- option "use UR": on

- location: AWACS (E-3, blue side)

- started the radio scanner

- set the frequency for radio 1 to the AWACS frequency (251.000)

- set the frequency scan pattern from 200 to 390 MHz

 

All blue aircraft talked at 327.00 MHz (Nellis Tower) or another frequency between 251.00 and 280.00 MHz, but I didn't get a signal. They used the V/UHF radio (which isn't secured,right?) or the UHF (Aux) radio, but without the secured mode.

 

Did I forgot something important?
