x39crazy Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 (edited) Hi all. Just getting into DCS skinning, starting with the Kurfurst (a dream) and now the mustang (less so). I'm using a very detailed template from November 2015, in 1.5 open beta. Everything is great, looks good and is super easy to paint, but when I zoom out gaps begin to appear between the painted areas, dividing the areas delineated by the wire frame in the templates. Just whites lines separating all the pained areas, particularly noticeable around the nose, along the top of the engine cowling, and between the fuselage fore and aft sections. What am I missing here? Edit: this is the template I'm using http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1553631/ Edited May 26, 2016 by x39crazy
Reflected Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 The Mustang can be a real PITA to skin. I haven't encountered the problem you are talking about, but I use Wiplash's template. I suggest you give that one a try. Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
