Low FPS by low system usage same time ???

Hi There,

playing dcs 2 (systemsettings dcs meduim) I do have low system usage (see attatched picture) and low fps (ie. 17 fps) the same time,

Windows 10, i5-4460, nivdia gtx 970 .

I removed and blocked windows nvidiadrivers, did try latest one and one older one, did update bios of pc and Nividia..installed Windows new, dcs new....

 

 

 

 

ok Problemn solved...Control Panel → Hardware & Sound → Power Options → Balanced Settings (Should be selected) → ... and was the other one selected

Actually that is wrong, your PowerSettings should be at HIGH PERFORMANCE and not BALANCED as that setting throttles your CPU up & down causing stutter and lag

No I believe he is right, he is referring to the Windows power setting, you may be thinking of the graphics driver power setting, which should be on performance. Windows power settings you have Balanced or Power Saver. ( at least in Win 10).

One can further customize from within the balanced setting - like I have mine set to never sleep automatically, usb selective suspend to off, etc.

thanks for your advices :) :thumbup:

 

my old bad enegry settings (fps16) was powersafing mode

with both of the new setting..balanced and hi performance i do have both around 55 fps.
