I've been mucking about with a mission where I want a C130 to start taxing after a few minutes of the mission loading. I can use the editor to get the C130 to start late but it moves within seconds of it spawning. I want it to spawn then either start it's engines and taxi or spawn with it's engines running then start moving after a few minutes. Is this possible?

Search in the forum, there is an answer... If I remember well... You have to select in the aircraft box, "non controlled aircraft" or something like that. And then in advanced tasks there is an order to "start". Then, go to the triggers and whenever you want put the contitiin Time more or whatever, then make PUSH AI TASK.

Either you or I have misunderstood op, I think he wants the c-130 to hold with engines running. As far as I know there isn't a way to do that. I think it would be a great feature to have.

With the aircraft group selected change the starting position from Parking Hot to Parking on Ramp. I'm not at my computer to check what its wording is exactly, but one option is to start on ramp and ready to taxi (hot) and to start from ramp cold and dark.

Thanks for the replies. I want to be able to taxi past the c130 then after I have passed him he starts up and taxis to the runway too. I can get him to spawn after me and taxi but I wanted the c130 to already be there on the ramp as I go past.

Ok, my option starts with engines shut off, but will work. Just put a trigger zone so when you pass makes him starts its engines and taxi. Ill make it for you but i cant do it yet. Out of home sorry.
