Engaging low flying targets with Magic

Hi,

 

I have set up my own mission where I have to engage low flying MI8 (around 100 ft AGL). It is hard to get lock on, so I am firing MAGIC missiles from quite close distance and every each MAGIC misses.

 

I imagine that this is how it should be in reality, but is it somehow possible to have a kill in this situation? Maybe from different angle? Speed? Configuration?

same thing with 530's - you just can't hit choppers with any missiles :(

Ok, I have figured out, that I was too close.

Now, I am extending distance and getting lock for the Magic seaker.
