Heater Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Coming back to DCS after a year break, I have the original DCS A-10c (With the Nevada terrain) and FC3, Black Shark (original and the Update) and a few of the other modules, I have all of the keys etc.…. Been searching the forums and I see a lot of updates beta’s / alpha’s etc… My question is what would be the fastest way to reinstall all of it, Do I need to dig out all of the CD’s and go through the install’s or can I just down load DCS world and the add the keys for the modules? St3v3f Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 Load DCS World from the website, then update DCS World, then install the modules via module manager. For Nevada you need to install 2.0 open alpha, caucasus is in 1.5 release or open beta Your discs are worthless for DCS World aka: Baron [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Laminator Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 hi guys, somewhat similar question, so I reutilize this thread. Coming back after break I have an old working install of 1.2.16 on my sdd. Should I use dcs_updater.exe to update to 1.5 or is it better to go for a fresh install? I mean, many things have changed, will updater result in a stable install?
