Is this possible?

I had a weird website address with the .com/ and a bunch of numbers trying to connect to our dedicated DCS server. Is this even possible and is there a way to block them from trying?

Maybe it was a person with that profile name that works for the company and they were trying to join so they could spam everyone. I'm just not sure but it kind of made me concerned.

I was connected to our server sitting on Nellis AFB and saw the client name trying to join the server. It was from this website but it looked like this. instagc.com/1121121 Whoever or whatever it was either wasn't able to connect completely or backed out. Is there should be a log for our server that shows the IP or other information? We're not running SLMOD and I know that does logging. I wasn't sure if it's running OK for 2.0 now.

OK, I tried to find that person in the member list but they're not listed. They're not required to have a forum account though so that doesn't mean anything. I just saw the .com and was immediately concerned. But my original question wasn't answered. Is it even possible for bots to connect to DCS servers? I think that's a stretch because someone would have to create an account to be used for that purpose and write code for a system to search and connect to servers. Seems like a waste of time in my opinion.

It would be a massive waste of time if you didn't have any other goals in mind..

I've seen that guy on the VA earlier and he even interacted with others and he has flown AC so I figured he was probably just using his name to advertise a referral link which gains him some advantage when someone clicks on it.
