I couldn't help but notice from your post, Grizzly, that you didn't mention any head tracking devices in your rig setup...

Just in case the fellas on the 75th haven't already mentioned it, I would strongly recommend you look into getting Track ir if you haven't already! As you have probably already seen, there's a ton of HOTAS inputs in the A-10C and no room for moving your "head" with a pov d-pad.

Just a quick update. Okay, got system up and running, now can do ramp starts and am starting to study. and joined and practice a little bit with the 75th. They are helping out a lot in the "Get Started" operation.

@SnorreSeimer: Near KBFI

Do have quick question: Been looking into UltraMFCD. Are they still in business? Downloaded it, but must have installed in the wrong place. Anyway, still can't get it to work. Freezes DCS on mission screen. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Just in case you havn't found your answer for UltraMFCD it is up and down it works for some and not for others its still being worked on for 1.5. I couldn't get it running myself so ended running a monitorsetup.lua which is what Gliptal talking about. Exporting MFCD the lua script way is better. But another way is https://bit-shift.com/a10vcserver/index.html. its a free version. You can drag and place the MFCD to where you need. I used this till I figured out the file for monitorsetup cause this way LUA will actually export all the other aircraft mfcd to your screen too that have exportable like names, I think. I am not to program savy. Like if you fly the f15 it put the left mfcd screen up. The bit shift server just does the a10c. Edited by Brewnix

@Gliptal: Please remember that I am brand new to DCS and the A-10. I have lots of flight sim experience so I don't feel completely lost, but with this system and plane I am just starting out. If you would be kind enough to point me to the proper instruction/documents that you just pointed out, or possibly explain a little more in detail, I would try to get it figured out.

Thanks for your post and appreciate any help you might send my way.

Kind regards,

Grizz Wallace

You're in good hands Grizz. Striker is an A-10 guru, 75th will get you set up. If you haven't yet... YouTube is your friend. There are some just awesome tutorials out there for the A-10C, the 476th guys, Gerry... forgot his last name, Irish guy I think, Bunyap, Picknthatbanjo... and many others. Just put in DCS A-10C tutorial into the search bar and you're off. Good luck and welcome to the Sim.
