Unlocking a target & cycling through combat modes

Hi guys,

 

Two quick questions:

1. How does one unlock a target? Can't find a key assignment or an option in the 'Controls' menu

2. How does one cycle through 'combat modes'? Is there a single key assignment like for cycling weapons? Can't find this in the 'Controls' menu

[VAF [136] Striker]

"enter" - lock target

"backspace" - return to search

"I" - radar on

"shift + I" - Hi, Med, Interleaved modes

"alt + I" - TWS, RWS modes

"o" - electro optical system

1-7 are for switching to main operation modes. Depending on the airframe you use there are:

 

[1] Navigation/ILS

[2] BVR

[3] Vertical Scan

[4] Boresight

[5] Not used

[6] Shlem or Missile Targeting Mode

[7] Air to Ground.

 

Cycle your weapons using [D] key.

I was asking if:

1) We can unlock a locked target using a key - if yes, which key?

2) Can we cycle through the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 modes using a single key?

Short answer: No

 

Long answer: Yes, but only using scripts, makros, or maybe 3rd party stuff.

Actually, I believe the [5] is used for the Shlem mode (Helmet Mounted Sight, for Russian fighters)...
