IAS2424 Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Hello all, I've been having an issue where the trim functions do not work in any aircraft in DCS. (I currently have the 25T & FC3) A little backstory: Everything was working fine on Thursday evening, and then I decided that I wanted to buy the FC3 module. I had a few steam dollars in my account so I uninstalled the game and installed the steam version, along with FC3. After that, I downloaded the new update. Now, no matter what I do or what keys I bind to my joystick or keyboard, the trim refuses to work. The autopilot trim works, but the moment I turn it off it resets back to center. I've made sure that the Force Feedback setting is unchecked as that gave me issues before, but it behaves as if it was checked regardless. I've already deleted the Inputs folder in the saved games/DCS folder, and it still persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Art-J Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 It's a bug introduced with 1.5.4 version. Affects most of the DCS aircraft for these users, who have any FFB device plugged in to their PCs. It's been reported and the devs are looking into this, but until the fix is ready, You can use temporary "quick and dirty" solution of jumping out and into your plane by pressing RightAlt +J twice. 1 i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
