1.54 Constantly Crashing

Hello Everyone,

I posted earlier about the game crashing when firing rockets. When the recent update came out, I was hoping that it was going to fix the game but in fact, it made the game run even worse. Now the game crashes when I fire any type of weapons ( gun pods, rockets, laser guided missiles) and with all aircrafts. I was looking in the forum trying to see if anyone else is having the same issue, but, it turns out that no one does, so my conclusion is that the issue is on my end. I tried to update the graphics card driver and rebooting the computer but none of that seems to fix it. the game is almost unplayable now. Any Ideas or suggestions on how to fix it would be grately appreciated.

Are you running any mods at all?

I tried repairing the installation. It didn't work. The only mod i'm running is a skin mod for the SU 25 and the SU 27. This may sound stupid, but how do I get the log file. When the game crashes, I click Debug and nothing happens. Thank you all for your responses

zip and attach the whole logs folder so we get a complete picture

thanks can you tell me your system spec if possible attach your dxdiag

 

DXDIAG

1. click on "START"

2. click "run"

3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"

4. check through the tabs and perform all tests

5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

6. attach this text file to your next message

 

 

edit: moved other peoples crashes to their own threads, if you have a crash please make a new thread unless it is known to be the same issue. it makes it easier to help users then.

Uploaded DxDiag file.

try a fresh options.lua

 

go to C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Config

 

delete options.lua

 

restart dcs and redo your options.

next time you get the crash please attach your fresh logs folder zipped again straight after

Tried deleting ""oprions.lua". It crashed again when I fired an unguided rocket. I attached the Logs file to this reply. I guess I will have to re-install the game. By the way, do I lose my progress if I do so ?

I have the same exact problems. I've searched through the internet and tried every possible thing, but give me some feedback and some suggestions and I'll let you know if I've tried it. This sucks...I want to play DCS normally again.
