As i said in the VTB++ thread i also made a VTH rework.

 

- Heading tape texture entirely remade : aligned, clearer version, new font (based on HUD font) + mipmap compatible

 

- Indication texture modified :

* added dedicated bars for DLZ (with corresponding new coords in LUA)

* Longer DLZ (see below for details)

* reworked DLZ « < » indicator (smaller)

* adjusted thickness/shape for some elements (DLZ, indication rectangle)

* adjusted gun reticle central dot (bigger, now clearly visible over the snake)

* reworked the AOA symbol

* Smaller Target Interception Indicator

* Misc details changes

 

 

- HUD font slightly reworked (more rounded, very subtle)

 

- Up Pitch ladder tex coords adjusted, (recentered since default position is slightly shifted)

 

- Heading tape, ASI/Mach and Alt position adjusted according available photo & video.

Note1: the AA gun ASI/Mach and Alt should be in « down » position like with MAGIC, however this part is hardcoded. I can't change it (i think it's just a small bug that would be corrected in futur release )

Note2: I adjusted the position for « Approach mode » to be the same as the MAGIC and GUN modes, since i guess there is only two positions Up and Down, BUT it's just a guess, i have no data about that.

 

- ASI, Mach, Alt, Radar Alt, H and GH elements sightly repositioned.

 

- DLZ, Weapon, G meter and AOA repositioned according available photo & video.

Note1: The current DLZ rule is too short, it should go from the top of the circle to the "G D" elements. I can't modify this.

Note2: G meter now show only one decimal

 

- Target bearing repositioned according photo & video.

Note: Now the « TIR » « DOM » etc are now below the target bearing : I don't know where is this element in the real HUD, but its clear in photos that the bearing is just below the circle and nothing can be placed between target bearing and circle

 

- Gun snake thickness adjusted (slightly thinner)

 

- Down weapon data sightly repositioned, and selection circle centered.

 

- Adjusted « SVI » « BAH » etc. indications position from right side to left side, near the weapon/scan type icon.

Note: I don't know where is this element in the real HUD, but if we look at photos & videos, it seem impossible that these indications to be at the right side, since the right side is flooded by Alt indication and DLZ, specialy in MAGIC & GUN mod.

 

- Navigation/Waypoint info repositionned by guess (from M2k-5 HUD photos)

Note: I don't know the real position of this element. In approach mode, Razbam moved this element from down to up, i kept the same logic since i don't have reliable data about that.

 

- Air-Ground mode KM element position adjusted by guess

Note: I don't know the real position of this element. Anyway, it now are not anymore overlayerd by the Radar Alt data.

 

- DLZ now longer, but:

Note: This is illusionary, only the texture element changed, the rule's logic still the same since it is hardcoded: vertical space between near and far still the same, the rule still correct, but not in full correspondance with the vertical bar.

 

- Gun ammo position adjusted.

Note: Appear clearly in video that the gun ammo are more at center than missile's G & D elements.

- New Vscan & Hscan icon, according available photo & video

- G meter & AOA sightly adjusted.

Really like what you did with the Speed and altitude numbers when you lock a target

 

Can be seen much better

Also, the first half of the snake line seems to be dashed, don't know if this visual element is hardcoded or can be adjusted.

Is it just me or the Gun Snake seems smaller in those videos?

 

And what is triangle used for?

 

I think the current gun snake history ratio is too long: too much time/distance between each control point (line) and so, an overall too long history... Not convenient for dogfight (already reported in the past, stayed dead letter... maybe in futur release... )

 

For the triangle, don't know... but the symbology exists in the texture pack, maybe not yet implemented feature.

It works online. I have VTB+VTH rework installed (Trough JSGME), and its passing IC.

New DLZ is awesome thanks looks same as in the videos now nice work

 

Still need to be adjusted with hardcoded algo...

 

1.22 fix in the air, vscan and hscan icon fix. I will stop here for now.

Ok, it's a joke... this kind of thing is hardcoded, can't be modified in LUA...
