Tooks101 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Hey guys, I've just got the F15 campaign for Nevada and using the Vive i get moderately bad stuttering, I've turned everything down to Low or off and pixel density remained at 1.0 and yet the stuttering continues. Its not unplayable but dam close and after long periods starts causing nausea. Anyone have a fix? or is the campaign just unplayable with vive due to the amount of aircraft etc? I'm running i5-3750k OC'd, 16gig ram, gtx 1080, running DCS on a SSD.

I run everything on max with a 1080 and 4690k 16gigs ram with 1.5 pixel density and it is pretty smooth. Sent from my SM-G903W using Tapatalk

hansangb Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Kayos and Pulf, what FPS are you guys seeing? Locked at 45? VR affects people differently. So "smooth" is too relative. We need FPS numbers that match the HW specs. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
Fab Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 I get a steady 45 but cant go near max settings.... pulf Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 I get 45 to 60 frames everything maxed. Downtown Vegas it takes a hit though, I've been running at 2.0 pixel density and it goes as low as 30fps around Vegas centre. Everywhere else 45 to 60 though Sent from my SM-G903W using Tapatalk

harf4ng Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 I doubt FPS you got is really VR dependant. They both have the same resolution, therefore you should have about the same FPS in the rift or the vive...
