Hey Community,

is there a chance to add some fly over, approach sounds like you can hear in the Video bellow.

I'm a sound engineer and I allready recorded some jet sounds of different jets at different Airbase locations (High Quality wav files). It would be nice to have 3 or 4 different sounds, one for heavy bombers and large jets, one for medium jets like the F-16 and one for smaller jets like F-5. Maybe one more for large planes like Awacs.

A similar sound like you can hear on the video from 18 - 20 seconds

Diveplanes sound mod has a VERY powerful and accurate sound engine, it sounds similar to this. However, the sound of passing jets doesn't sound as good as it could imo.

There is no flyby sound file like in some older sims. Ibstead each aircraft has 3 different files (front, side, back) for each powrr setting (usually 3). For prop aircraft there're some additional samples like pre combustion and a far distance noise (called eng_spatial which is located in the P-51 folder but used for all prop aircraft).

Getting flybys to sound the way they do in videos is difficult but you canacchieve decent results with good samples amd a lot of tweaking.
