How do you import lock-on models?

Are there any plugins available that allow you to import exisiting lock on models into Max 7? I'm curious to see how the ED team modelled some of their aircraft.

 

It would also be nice to edit some of them.

if that were possible, we can change a lot of models by adding a few adjustments. However, ED made it into .lom file so no one can steal their models.

You can only convert to LOMAC style .lom files, but not the other way around. Once converted to .lom, you cannot convert back to view or edit it.
