[HELP] DCS crashes then trashes (my cmd files)

The latest version of DCS is now systematically crashing when exiting the program (just by pressing exit). This should not be a big deal but it turned out that, when crashing, DCS actually trashes systematically the command list of some aircraft, in my case, always the Mi-8 and the UH-1H but does nothing to the commands list of the Ka-50 and SA342.

Consequence, when launching a mission with Mi-8 or UH-1H, no keyboard keys or joystick input are working at all. Not even the escape key. I have to kill the DCS task to leave the game.

Tried uninstall then re install the modules, and it does the trick. All the commands are back and my custom assignments also (don't have to re bind everything). But then I exit the game, and DCS crashes again, then trashes again my Mi-8 and Huey commands list.

Any idea or help? This is really a big problem for me.

not sure about the inputs, what antivirus are you using?

I guess if the exit crash is solved, my command keys list won't be erased anymore.

hopefully we will see a fix in the next patches.

 

bare in mind bitdefender is known to be problematic with dcs so if you can add dcs to its white / allowed list
