Just got back from a great flight in the Gazelle Mistral, sight seeing, blowing stuff up and performing stomach twisting maneuvers. (Love this!):)

This got me thinking,

Has anyone performed a extended zero G maneuver, in any aircraft, in VR?

If so, how did your brain/body react?

How long could/did you maintain it?

I have not tried this yet other than in the Gazelle.

Thanks

"Yeah, and though I work in the valley of Death, I will fear no Evil. For where there is one, there is always three. I preparest my aircraft to receive the Iron that will be delivered in the presence of my enemies. Thy ALCM and JDAM they comfort me. Power was given unto the aircrew to make peace upon the world by way of the sword. And when the call went out, Behold the "Sword of Stealth". And his name was Death. And Hell followed him. For the day of wrath has come and no mercy shall be given."

In helis , not only the zero-G. The surrounding objects are accelerating, moving and rotating but your body feels nothing. It gonna 'help' you emptying your stomach anyway.

At higher level.FPS is smooth and the horizon becomes only reference. Dogfighting and aerobatics, I feel nothing.

In the vr world, not only the DCS, At ground level or close enough from ground,if any movements are not driven by the players, you will feel sick very soon.
