Hehe!!:D LOL, I'm the opposite. Since getting my Rift I have been spending a small fortune catching up with all the modules that I never intended to buy, but now that we have VR I just have to have them. MiG15, MiG21, F5E, Gazelle, M2000C, L39 all since the end of April. :music_whistling:
harf4ng Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 The thing that stop me to do the same is that I don't have pedals yet, so I can't use the modules in a good way :) Favorite modules : Huey, F-86F, F14 and P-51D Quest 2, RTX 3080, i7 10700K, 16 Gb of RAM, Pro Flight Trainer PUMA helicopter setup, Warthog HOTAS with two force sensitive stick, custom cockpit and a GS-Cobra dynamic seat.

Justin Case Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 I flew DCS and Cliffs of Dover the other day, using TrackIR again for the first time since I revived my Rift in May. All I can say is that there is no comparison. I used to love my 3400x1440 display but when I use it now it just feels extremely underwhelming, I'm still sitting here in my living room looking at a screen! http://www.masterarms.se A Swedish Combat Flight Simulator Community.
Thisdale Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 I've been doing a few test flights while editing missions ('cause the ME in VR is really painful). Oh my god, is it boring. The game is... well it's a completely different game with VR isn't it? http://www.youtube.com/konotani Computer Specs: Z97X-gaming Mobo 4670k i5 24G DDR3 GTX 1080 Asus PG278Q Rog Swift 27-INCH G-SYNC Valve Index Thrustmaster Warthog Fanatec Clubsport Pedals (used as Rudders) Thrustmaster T300 Arcantera Wheel Obutto R3volution rig

harf4ng Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 More than the Huey? Favorite modules : Huey, F-86F, F14 and P-51D Quest 2, RTX 3080, i7 10700K, 16 Gb of RAM, Pro Flight Trainer PUMA helicopter setup, Warthog HOTAS with two force sensitive stick, custom cockpit and a GS-Cobra dynamic seat.
Phantom88 Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 More than the Huey? I think so......The Mi-8 cockpit is Massive...and brilliantly modeled. Patrick
Redlinebuzz Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 It has really good fps as well, like sitting in a living room , as compared to harry potter cupboard under the stairs in the gazelle! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
EntropySG Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 More than the Huey? seriously, try the Mi-8 in the rift. Then switch to the middle (flight engineer) position while flying, AMAZING.. the view.. wow. One thing with the Huey, while the cockpit dimensions feel just about perfect, the default textures seem to be low res? Even when I zoom in, I have a very hard time reading the labels. Anyone have a link to a high-res huey cockpit , if there is one? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
hansangb Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 It's an old bird...the labels have worn off! :) hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
