replace sounds

I tried to replace some cannon sounds from DCS 1.5.3 to 1.5.4 but is not working.

Does anyone here use some different cannon sounds ?

same procedure as the thread you made earlier, replace the sounds in the aircraft folder, the sounds in the sdef folder and the sounds in the effects folder

 

or download any sound mod, and then you have an orientation about where and which files to replace

Look, i attache here a sound, doesent matter if its sounds great or not.

Would you, please, try to make this the default sound for F15C / Su27 ( Flaming Cliffs 3 ) ??

the default cannon for F15C / Su27

No missiles, no rockets, only cannons

the next thing you can try, if you haven't already, is cutting the File on the same size as the default one

There should be a possibility that we missed a file, probably one of the sound files, which is called: "_End"

Hi buddy. There is a mess with cannon sounds indeed. For a long time the f15 vulcan audio has been shared with GSh301In sound. Since the Gazelle module introduction the file has been located also in CoreMods folder, which has priority over common Sounds folder. I'm talking about 1.5 release, don't know about OB or 2.0 OA, but its probably the same situation. Anyways, I wanted to replace the sound myself so I can share: JGSME ready proper M61A1 audio. If it works for you then you owe me cold Heineken.

I try now to disable some warning sounds, they are very annoying, the only way I can do it is manually
