gospadin Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 your view x/y/z is corrupted, possibly in views.lua within the mi-8 directory, but cannot remember the filename exactly My liveries, mods, and missions for DCS:World M-2000C English Cockpit | Extra Beacons Mod | Nav Kneeboard | Community A-4E
Devrim Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Removing a mod also does that. In Saved Games folder, find DCS folder and rename it temporarily and check the view again please. gunterlund21 Posted September 16, 2016 Author Posted September 16, 2016 ok so changing the folder fixed it but how do I get my original stuff back. Which file is messed up? I was in Art of the Kill D#@ it!!!!
zaelu Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) In \Saved Games\DCS\Config\View folder server.lua and snapviews.lua. Delete them or edit them in notepad++ by carefully removing UH1H sections. This is safest way to do it by inserting --[[ at the start of a section and then ]] at the end of it. With [[ ... ]] you encapsulate a section and with -- you disable it.Hence --[[ ... ]] . The sign -- by it's own disables just one line so you need to encapsulate a section to avoid adding -- to all lines in it. example before: example after: Most probably you were using the so called realistic neck mod... gunterlund21 Posted September 16, 2016 Author Posted September 16, 2016 deleting server.lua and snapview.lua did the trick. I was in Art of the Kill D#@ it!!!!
Devrim Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Probably it came from a mod that you forgot or not currently using it.
