Well, maybe this is not the best place to post it but...

Im trying to fly Su-25t and:

- I cant use the landing gear by pressing "g"

- I cant use tha flaps by pressing F or shift+F

- I cant switch on air to ground mode

Im 1.12a and this things happens from the begginning (I can fly f.e. A-10 normally)

I watched several training missions with the Su-25t and none tells how to takeoff or land...

Need help.

Thxs in advance.

You're probably going too fast for the gear & flaps to deploy. What do you mean you can't switch to ground mode? Pressing 7 doesn't do anything? Or, do you mean the monitor won't come on? If so- that's a separate command. Taking off & landing.. heh... stand by for some real fun, bro. This is the advanced flight model- you can't force this bird to do anything. practice.... Check www.flankertraining.com maybe Rick made an AFM takeoff & landing training track.

And read the manual very carefully.

Wait till you're below 500km/h before you try to lower the gear or flaps.

When you fully (shift+F) lower the flaps, hold the keys down till the flaps finish extending

Cheers.

No...its like this,

I turn on the engines close the canopy taxi to runway...

Then I press "F" for the flaps to down them so I can takeoff more easily...but the flaps dont go down.

Then I put throttle to 100% and make the chubby bird takeoff...I do it but then I press "G" to hide the landing gear but it does nothing.

Then I press "7" for the AG mode to appear...nothing happens...man....It even doesnt show up the NAV mode!!!

wtf??

Even the NAV mode doesn't appear? Hmm, try to press Shift-L before starting engines. It will turn the electrical system on and you'll see. Maybe this causes your problems...

---- Well Wolverine, you were faster!:)

I think you can, but it fails to register on any gauges.

Yes. You're right. SHIFT-L simply turns on electrical power to the cockpit instruments. The engines spool up fine without it.

EDIT: Michael, does anything show up on the HUD at all or does it stay blank? If it's blank, the problem is that you haven't turned on electrical power to the systems. You need to press SHIFT-L as others have stated above. Otherwise, you can start your engines, close your canopy, and take off. But none of the other systems function--flaps, gear, HUD modes.
