Problems With V.2 And Nevada Test Range Module

Hello,

I hope there are some knowledgeable folks out there who can help a not very computer savvy guy like me.

I am currently running the original DCS World (1.0) with the P-51D Module installed and all is working well. I ordered the P-40 back in July 2015 and purchased the Nevada Test range module as soon as it was offered so I could get some non-Russian scenery to fly in. According to my account my payment was accepted and I have the registration code accessible there, but to date I have not received either there or in my email account any links to download the .exe files for installation. While waiting for this I recently decided to upgrade my DCS World to v 2.0, which I would need to use the NTTR module and the P-40. I downloaded v 2.0 from the website and followed the auto-installer instructions and clicked Finish. I have a desk top icon which I clicked to examine the new DCS World but nothing happened. I tried several different times, including clicking on the Open Alpha. Update.exe in the DCS World Open Alpha 2.0 folder to try to launch the program with no success. A small box flashes for a second on the screen but then disappears. I've tried waiting for as long as five minutes but nothing happens. I'd like to know three things. 1.) How can I get DCS World v.2 to load. 2.) How do I find and install the Nevada Test Range to DCS World v.2? Or does it auto-install with v.2? 3.) How do I get my P-51D into v.2 so I can fly it there.

Thanks for your help. I really need to understand what is going on. I'm not very computer savvy so please bear with me.

Can you add your pc spec to the post.

 

and just to clarify, DCS 2.0 is a stand alone install so should not be merged with any other install.

 

 

Also please check C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS.openalpha\Logs

 

If you do have a logs folder please zip it and attach to your next post.
