Helios KA-50 setup made me loose the cockpit UV-26, PVI-800 and other instrument view

Hey,

 

 

Installed Capt. Zeen's KA-50 Helios profile, but now the UV-26 and PVI-800 are disabled in my DCS in-game cockpit view. I'm aware of how to disable the MFCD's to only view them externally but this is obviously some other settings/tweaks that Helios did when I pressed setup.

 

Can someone help me?

Ummm... Helios dont remove the displays from DCS.

You can disable some viewports from the game if you need it, but i dont remember to do that on my monitor configurations, anyway i am going to take a look as soon i arrive home.

Thanks for your answer, I've restored the in cockpit view by "Verify integrityof game cache" option in Steam.

 

I'm gonna try to re-install helios and see if the displays disappear again. I'm 100% sure it happened when I ran the Helios setup initially, but it might have been a coincidence.

viewporthanding.lua controls that. You fixed it when you did a repair.

Hello again,

 

I just found a situation where use of a " Background Fill" on the gauges monitor properties in Helios covered up the exported viewports. That might be what caused your problem. Turn off the fill if so.

Or you did a DCS update that removed the modified luas from the directories (and stored them in a backup00xx directory).
