HoYa Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 I just tried the oculus rift and it was awesome ! So much so that I am planning on buying a home cockpit and start to learn DCS, specifically FC3, not the more complex a10c. My question is this, with the oculus it seems impossible to access the keyboard or mouse. So, if I buy the thrust master warthog, will that give me enough buttons so I don't have to access the keyboard? Thanks HoYa
NeilWillis Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Please don't post the same question twice in separate threads! - Just ask it once, it will avoid confusion.

Astronut Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Mapping the most commonly used functions to a HOTAS helps a lot, but you can see just enough through the nose gap that the keyboard can be used. It soon becomes no big deal to glance down briefly to peek at the keyboard.

Pikey Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 FC3 you can map everything important wiuth an x52, im sure a warthog is more than enough, Voice attack can cover other things. Personally I can find the mouse and click inside without looking, I don't use the look and point system ED introduced. ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *
