fixen Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 I was wondering what the function of the magic search(called "magic unlock" in game)/nav update button was. I can not find anything about it in the manual apart from it being on the mirage 2000c HOTAS.
jojo Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 In NAV mode it triggers NAV update by vertical over flight (needs to hit hit "VAL" on PCN to validate). In AA, when the Magic is locked on target it's used to unlock. Mirage fanatic ! fixen Posted September 29, 2016 Author Posted September 29, 2016 Thank you. I have one more question: are the "low->int->high" and "high->int->low" PRF controls broken? They dont seem to change the PRF frequensy. I thought I could use these switches on my HAT (still had 2 free buttons) for increasing the frequensy and lowering it.
Frederf Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 The basse (low) PRF should be very noticeable as the contacts appear as squares and can never be locked. The interleaved (low-high mix) shows wedges that can be locked the first stage but not the second and haute (high) both lock stages. That was working last I checked and it's how I would verify it.
fixen Posted September 29, 2016 Author Posted September 29, 2016 Exactly, but I bound the buttons and they did nothing. So I wonder If they are broken. I am talking specifically about the "low->int->high" and "high->int->low" PRF controls. The other ones do work however.

I have had to bind different buttons to each individual PRF.
Frederf Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 The increase/decrease keys for PRF don't work for me either. They used to.
