drz400dude
So when I try and reset the view it does nothing. In most apps I can hit the Oculus menu button, recenter view, and everything is fine. You cant use the zoom in and out buttons either. The only way I have found is to physically move my seat back. Otherwise it feels like I'm sitting on the control stick. This also causes my HUD to be out of wack. Any suggestions?
Kaiza
I am guessing you are referring to the A-10C? Its a known issue and related to the default view (and is not designed for VR). You can move your seat or put your head forward and then reset the view. Other aircraft should be fine. drz400dude
I'm dumb, I was trying to use / and * to zoom. But numpad5 centers view, and like you said just lean in a little and center. Thanks.
BobFlex
For the A-10C what I prefer to do is use "LCtrl. + LShift" and "/" or "*" to move the default view point forward and back manually. It's a little bit easier for me that way I can just get my view moved back to a natural position and then recenter to get everything lined up properly if needed. There's also the lua file that you can edit that will permanently change the default view point but I haven't messed with that yet. i5-6600K (4.7GHz) || Asus Z170-A || EVGA GTX 1080 FTW || 16GB Kingston HyperX Fury 2133 DDR4 RAM || Samsung 850 EVO, Seagate Baracuda 1TB || LG 27UD68 4k Monitor || TM Warthog HOTAS (serial 57210) || MFG Crosswind || HTC Vive A-10C | M-2000C | F-5E | UH-1H | Mig-21bis | F-86F | P-51D | FW-190D9 | FC3 | CA
