Not a good year for the Legacy Hornet and crashes. SkateZilla
He ejected from the runway, so Zero / 120 Ejection. Legacy Hornets are falling apart, it's really the USMC's own Stubbornness to blame, They wanted to ride out the F-35 Delay w/ the Already Aging F/A-18C/Ds. Pulling the Hornets out of AMARC and taking them to Cecil to get retrofitted to the F/A-18C+ Standard isnt going to give them more than maybe 5 years. 1 Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs

It's sad to see beacause our pilots deserve better. The life of a fighter pilot is dangerous enough and now they have to worry about unreliable and unsafe aircraft. It looks like the USMC is having the same issue with the Harrier as well. The USMC really put a lot of faith in the F-35 and may be wishing that they purchased some Super Hornets. Hopefully the DCS Hornet will be in better condition for us virtual aviators. :smilewink: i5 7600K @4.8GHz | 1080 Ti | 32GB 3200MHz | SSD | DCS SETTINGS | "COCKPIT"

Tirak
It's going to be a rough few more years unfortunately until the F-35 comes out in large enough numbers to take up the slack. The Navy's even chipping in a portion of their F-35 buy for the next few years to the Marines.
SkateZilla
The USMC Changed their Order from All F-35Bs to a few Sqns of F-35Cs to continue to provide a Role with USN deployments.
